I had another ultrasound a few days later. ![]() At 5w6d, one baby had a strong heartbeat and one had no heartbeat, no fetal pole. Fast forward a few years and many, many heartaches and cycles later, I was again pg with twins (donor egg this time). By 7 weeks, my body had re absorbed baby b. Long story short, I had vanishing twin syndrome. I had one baby with a strong heartbeat at 6w and one baby with no heartbeat or fetal pole. My first ultrasound hell, I was pregnant with twins. I've been in ultrasound hell twice before and have had different results both times. I'll get my blood results tomorrow but something tells me those won't put my mind at ease. ![]() The nurse who did the U/s was not helpful at all but did say that it was still very early and we may see more in a couple weeks. We thankfully found a sac in my uterus and ruled out ectopic but there was no fetal pole or yolk. My first scan was this morning when I would technically be 6 weeks or 23dp5dt. So horrible doubling time the first four days then it picked up the next couple of days. My beta hcg levels thereafter were as follow. I did a frozen transfer on 2/16 for 2 5 days blastocysts and found out that I was pregnant for the very first time ever on 2/26. I'm doing everything I can to stay positive but really need some encouragement! I've got from infertility hell, to IVF hell, to beta/hcg hell, to now, ultrasound hell. I'm looking for some success stories and words of wisdom. ![]()
